DISTRIBUTION ORDER PICKER​

Our client, a leading logistics and distribution company, is seeking a DISTRIBUTION ORDER PICKER​ to join their team. As a DISTRIBUTION ORDER PICKER​, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the distribution process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: DISTRIBUTION ORDER PICKER​

Location: Colonial Heights, VA

Pay Range: $17.60

What's the Job?

• Pick, stack, label, and distribute products within the warehouse efficiently and accurately.
• Transport materials and items from the picking area to designated locations.
• Sort and place materials or items on pallets or bakery dollies according to specific sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Load and unload trays from trucks, ensuring proper handling and safety.
• Utilize technology such as RF scanning and voice picking equipment for directed order picking, if applicable.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and meet productivity goals.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification to operate riding pallet jacks is a plus.
