Are you experienced in food manufacturing, food processing, or large-batch production and looking for an opportunity to grow into a skilled production role?

We're seeking a dependable, detail-oriented employee to join a family-owned food manufacturer. This is a mid-level, full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a clear path into a permanent Production Cook position, where you'll operate large steam kettles and follow recipes used to produce preserves, jellies, sauces, and other specialty products.

What You'll Do

• Train on filling, packaging, and other production stations
• Learn to operate large steam-jacketed kettles
• Follow recipes and production procedures precisely
• Measure and weigh ingredients accurately
• Monitor product quality, pH, and production specifications
• Complete production records
• Clean equipment and prepare for upcoming production runs
• Support other departments during downtime between batches

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in food manufacturing, food processing, production, or large-batch preparation (strongly preferred)
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable following recipes and procedures exactly as written
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a hot, humid manufacturing environment

Schedule & Benefits

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
• $20.00-$22.00 per hour

* This role is located on the second floor of the facility and requires climbing stairs, standing for extended periods, and wearing required PPE, including steel-toed shoes and hair restraints.
