Our client, Manufacturing & Production Operations is seeking a Forklift Operator night shift to join their team. As a Forklift Operator night shift, you will be part of the Production Support team, helping keep work orders moving by staging, moving, and transacting materials accurately. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Forklift Operator night shift
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Pay Range: $20.33
Shift: 12 hr rotating shift (6:30PM-6:30AM)
What's the Job?
- Stage materials in designated areas and maintain organization of materials to support production flow.
- Operate forklift, walkie rider, order selector, or pallet jack as needed to deliver materials to production areas.
- Pick and pull materials from the warehouse or Kanban areas while completing accurate Oracle inventory transactions.
- Verify part, lot, quantity, and location when pulling for any location to ensure correct materials are issued.
- Perform daily cycle counts and zone counting as instructed, and reconcile work orders to ensure transactions are completed.
What's Needed?
- Forklift experience is required.
- Ability to read, write, perform basic calculations, and navigate complex computer programs accurately.
- Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Open availability and ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule if needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following all safety regulations and procedures.
