Machine Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Archdale, NC

Pay Range: $18.00/hr

Shift: 1st Shift: 6am-4:30pm M-TH, possible OT on Fridays

What's the Job?

• Operate and set up various metal fabrication machines such as Waterjet, Bandsaw, Mazak horizontal mills, or Haas VF mills
• Use waterjet software to create or modify 2D drawings on computer
• Assemble or fabricate orders according to drawings, using correct parts, tools, and specifications
• Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency during production
• Perform quality checks and audit work as per standard instructions, ensuring precision and safety

What's Needed?

• Fabrication machine shop experience, including Waterjet, Bandsaws, or CNC machines preferred
• Strong safety awareness and ability to use hand, electric, and pneumatic tools
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical drawings and work instructions in English
• Proficiency with measuring instruments and basic math and geometry skills
• Willingness to work overtime as needed and maintain good attendance and performance records
