Material Handler/Suet Packager - 1st Shift

Our client is seeking a Material Handler/Suet Packager to join their team. As a Material Handler/Suet Packager, you will be part of the production floor supporting packaging and shipping readiness. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work effectively on a team line, and a safety-first mindset that aligns successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler/Suet Packager - 1st Shift

Location: Coopersville, MI

Pay Range: $16/hr

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm (OT on Fridays as needed)

What's the Job?

• Work on a production line packaging and inspecting suet cakes for bird feeders, including verifying packages and labels
• Place packaged items into boxes, stack them on pallets, and prepare them for shipping
• Move materials in and out of the line to keep production flowing
• Shrink wrap pallets and support shipping readiness
• Help move scrap as needed to maintain a clean, organized work area

What's Needed?

• Forklift experience is required
• Ability to follow work instructions and quality checks while working on a team line
• Comfort with repetitive packaging tasks and standing for extended periods
• Willingness to support shipping and material movement throughout the shift
