Operator I

Our client, a manufacturing environment, is seeking a Operator I to join their team. As a Operator I, you will be part of the production team supporting day-to-day operations that produce quality parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to follow detailed work instructions, and a focus on quality checks that help ensure every part meets pre-determined specifications.

Job Title: Operator I

Location: La Grange, NC 28551

Pay Range: $17.35

Shift: Monday–Friday 3:00pm–11:30pm; OT as required

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate machines and assemble components to produce quality parts based on pre-determined specifications.
• Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.
• Set up, start, and observe machine operations, troubleshooting or adjusting as required to keep production on track.
• Complete changeovers and material feedthrough to support continuous, efficient manufacturing.
• Perform first piece inspections and complete machine guarding checklists; use gauges and calipers to verify conformance.

What's Needed?

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret job instructions, specifications, and sample parts.
• Comfort working with measuring tools such as gauges and calipers to confirm quality requirements.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures, including machine guarding checklists.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
