Package and Assembly

Our client, food manufacturing is seeking a Package and Assembly to join their team. As a Package and Assembly, you will be part of the production team supporting daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety and food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Package and Assembly

Location: Ashton, IL

Pay Range: $16.42

Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm

What's the Job?

• Measure, weigh, and load ingredients into mixers according to batch sheets.
• Operate mixing machinery safely and efficiently.
• Monitor the mixing process to ensure consistency and quality.
• Perform setup and cleanup of mixing equipment.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety protocols while maintaining accurate production records and documentation.

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift and handle heavy bags (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable with repetitive motion and standing for long periods.
• Basic math and reading skills for interpreting batch sheets.
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; previous food manufacturing or mixing experience preferred but not required.
