Production Floater

We’re Hiring Production Floaters | Northampton, MA

Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour | Monday to Friday (08:00-17:30)  | Weekly Pay

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Production Floaters to support manufacturing operations from raw material processing through final quality control. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a hands-on production environment and can adapt to multiple responsibilities while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee production from raw materials through final quality inspection
• Operate and monitor mixing, extrusion, drying, cutting, and firing processes
• Adjust processing parameters to meet product specifications
• Track and manage raw materials and production consumables
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues alongside engineering and management teams
• Operate a forklift to move materials and products throughout the facility
• Pack finished goods and prepare orders for shipment

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Ability to operate operate a forklift
• Comfortable working at elevated heights on ladders and platforms when needed
• Ability to lift, move, and handle production materials safely
