Production Helper/Inventory

Our client, a leader in the medical equipment industry, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good math skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, temp to perm position. 

Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

What's the Job?

• Receive shipments and perform inventory counting of parts that come in.
• Track inventory in the system using basic math skills (adding and subtracting).
• Maintain inventory control and ensure accuracy in records.
• Operate a pallet jack and receive training on a forklift once you become a permanent staff member.
• Assist with basic cleanup of the warehouse as instructed by upper management to maintain a clean working environment.

What's Needed?

• No previous experience required; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Basic math skills for inventory tracking.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Previous experience with pallet jacks is a plus, but not mandatory.
