Blending Operator - 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $24.75/hour

In this role, you will be responsible for operating blending equipment, ensuring product quality, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the efficient production of high-quality products.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, mechanically inclined, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Schedule
Thursday - Sunday
1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate blending equipment, including startup, shutdown, and troubleshooting procedures
- Follow blending instructions, formulations, and sampling plans accurately
- Safely operate a forklift to move ingredients and materials
- Maintain a valid driver's license and adhere to all equipment safety procedures
- Monitor blending processes to ensure product quality and consistency
- Complete equipment cleaning and sanitation requirements
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment to meet company, customer, and regulatory standards
- Complete production documentation accurately and in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, Food Safety, and Food Defense requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assist with additional production responsibilities as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain certification)
- Valid driver's license required
- Previous manufacturing, blending, production, food processing, or industrial experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions accurately
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to learn and follow detailed manufacturing processes and safety protocols
- Self-motivated with a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- Willingness to participate in cross-training and ongoing development opportunities
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8-12 hours)
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in varying temperature environments
- Ability to perform physically demanding job duties in a manufacturing setting
