Production Technician

Our client, [Industry Descriptor] is seeking a Production Technician to join their team. As a Production Technician, you will be part of the production team supporting clutch manufacturing and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a focus on quality and production expectations, and the ability to follow written and verbal work instructions which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Athens, GA

Pay Range:

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm

What's the Job?

• Responsible for the production and assembly of both remanufactured and original equipment clutches and associated components, meeting quantity and quality expectations while ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
• Work within established quality and ELS systems, complying with safety policies and regulations, including required PPE as outlined in work instructions.
• Comply with corporate and company policies and guidelines; report any variances in quality, safety, or other guidelines to your cell leader or member of management.
• Perform lean activities as directed (e.g., 5S, kan-ban systems, point-of-use inventory, standardized work).
• Maintain production records for the assigned position and complete daily tasks in compliance with work standards using work instructions for proper procedures.

What's Needed?

• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently.
• Ability to stand, twist, bend, squat, and stoop as required by the role.
• Depth and peripheral vision required; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
