Our client, in the Automotive Industry, is seeking a CNC Programmer for the Tool and Die department to join their team. As a Tool and Die maker, you will assist the Tool room manager in the continued success of press and equipment operation. The tool and die maker will work with the engineering and operations teams in creating and reviewing tooling prints along with end product assembly drawings and needed hardware to produce end products. CAM programming required.

Job Title: Tool and Die Maker - Programmer

What’s the Job?
- Operates and programs CNC and various cutting machines.
- Operates and maintains multiple machine tools such as but not limited to manual mills, lathes, CNC mills, CNC lathes, grinders, drill presses, saws and welders.
- Operates and maintains measuring instruments such as but not limited to height, gauges, depth protractors, micrometers, scales and calipers.
- Creates sketches and interprets blueprints and schematics for the machining and/or maintenance of tooling needs.
- Builds, repairs, maintains and/or duplicates various die/tooling and/or die/tooling details used in production processes in an effort to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Assists with preventative maintenance on all press tooling, assembly dies and other related production fixtures.
- What’s Needed?
- Experience working with injection molds
- Experience with CNC machinery (Hass, YCM, Sharona)
- Experience with Fanuc and Hass controls for CNC machines
- Ideally experience with rubber and plastic injection molding
- Ability to read and write English
- Some CAD and design experience
- Formal tool and die machining courses, certifications or degree is an asset.
