Welder

Our client, in Clare, MI is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the Production department supporting the Welding team(s). The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a quality-first mindset, and the drive to learn and improve which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $21

Shift: 3rd shift -  10 pm - 6 am
*overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time and can be heavy, including Friday's

What's the Job?

• Position parts according to work orders, routings, prints, and unit knowledge.
• Regulate welding equipment for proper weld current, wire feed, and gas flow.
• Join steel or aluminum pieces by heating to achieve proper fusion.
• Ensure fit, function, and cosmetics meet or exceed Rogers/StageRight quality expectations.
• Remove BB’s and other weld imperfections from product surfaces and record labor, downtime, scrap, and rework details for each work order and routing sheet.

What's Needed?

• At least one (1) year of MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Blueprint and welding symbol knowledge (preferred).
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to solve practical problems and handle the variety of situations that come up during daily fabrication.
