Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in electronic and mechanical assemblies, is seeking a dedicated Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality instruments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD

Pay Range: $25.50

Shift:  7:00am- 3:30pm Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

  • Perform a variety of assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies, including wiring, component installation, and fitting on units.
  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and quality standards.
  • Conduct quality inspections and troubleshoot complex issues during assembly processes.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble assemblies as needed, testing prototypes and experimental units.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety and regulatory policies.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED with 3 years of manufacturing experience or an AA technical degree with 1 year of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical tools including torque drivers, gauges, bits, etc.
  • Proficiency in reading drawings, interpreting measurements, and understanding specifications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working in regulated environments and following GMP standards.
