Our client, a leading organization in the cabinetry and woodworking industry, is seeking a Cabinetry Sander to join their team. As a Cabinetry Sander, you will be part of the Finishing Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, accountability, and strong communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Cabinetry Sander
Location: Rockledge, FL
Pay Range: $15.50-$16.50 hourly
Shifts: M-F (5am-1:30pm), (7am-3:30pm) or (1:30pm-10:00pm) overtime permitted.
What's the Job?
- Use orbital sander and other tools to sand and prepare cabinets and compartments for finishing
- Inspect incoming parts for quality standards and verify own work before moving to the next stage
- Prepare surfaces for paint or stain using appropriate hand tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety procedures
- Complete and maintain paperwork for parts and communicate effectively across departments
What's Needed?
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
- 2+ years related experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to operate orbital sander and hand tools safely
