Extruder Operator

Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Extruder Operator to join their team. As a Extruder Operator, you will be part of the Production department supporting the Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to follow work instructions consistently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Extruder Operator

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Pay Rate: $22.00/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday; 3:00PM - 11:30PM

What's the Job?

• Obtain the correct documentation for the batch and ensure the correct ingredients are delivered to the work area.
• Set up and start production machinery by checking controls for adherence to operating and safety procedures.
• Notify appropriate personnel of any issues, problems, or concerns in a timely manner.
• Safely and neatly process materials packages and/or skids material to the correct size/container according to customer specifications.
• Complete and maintain required paperwork and/or documents while following all safety and work rules and maintaining departmental housekeeping standards.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Manufacturing/Industrial Operations experience (1 year).
• Cross-functional problem solving techniques experience (1 year).
• Fork Lift Operators License completed.
• Intermediate skills in manual dexterity, quantitative skills, reading/comprehension, and conflict resolution.
