Our client is seeking a Fabrication Associate to join their team. As a Fabrication Associate, you will be part of the production team supporting pipe fabrication and assembly. The ideal candidate will have strong safety awareness, the ability to read and measure accurately, and a team-first mindset that helps keep work moving in a fast-paced shop environment.

Job Title: Fabrication Associate

Location: Groveport, OH

Pay Range: $19 - $20/hr

Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Overtime: May be required in occasional Saturdays based on business needs.

What's the Job?

  • Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard to support daily production flow.
  • Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) while keeping work supplies organized and ready.
  • Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and Ferguson procedures.
  • Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication, including accurate measuring, recording, and cutting.

What's Needed?

  • 6–8 months recent machinery experience with band saws, automatic welding machines, and mechanical background.
  • Ability to use and understand tape measures, plus experience using gauges for quality checks.
  • 3–6 months forklift experience and the ability to inspect and maintain forklift equipment.
  • Strong math skills for calculating product quantities and measuring random pipe lengths accurately.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
