General Production

Our client, manufacturing and production operations is seeking a General Production to join their team. As a General Production, you will be part of the production floor supporting day-to-day manufacturing needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality, the ability to follow detailed work instructions, and the drive to work safely and efficiently as part of a team.

Job Title: General Production

Location: Buffalo, NY

Pay Range: $18/hour

Shift: 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

• Safely operate machinery and follow all safety expectations while working on the production floor.
• Practice consistent housekeeping to keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for production.
• Read and follow factory orders to ensure the correct work is completed in the right sequence.
• Set up orders, which may include carrying tooling, and prepare for accurate production runs.
• Complete quality and administrative document checks to ensure specific directions are followed, including consistent quality and count inspection of product.

What's Needed?

• Ability to accurately read tape measures, gauges, and other testing equipment using basic shop math.
• Strong attention to detail for consistent quality and count inspection of product.
• Ability to accurately complete quality and administrative document checks to ensure instructions are followed.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed to support production schedules.
• Stable work history with good attendance, a positive attitude, and a desire to produce quality work as part of a team.
