Industrial Masker

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in metal finishing and industrial coatings, is seeking a Industrial Masker to join their team. As a Industrial Masker, you will be part of the Production Department supporting manufacturing and finishing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Masker

Location: Lynwood, CA

Pay Range: $19 per hour (DOE)

Shift: 1st Shift, 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts available

What's the Job?

• Apply masking tape, plugs, caps, and protective materials to parts prior to painting or powder coating.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, and process specifications.
• Inspect parts to identify areas requiring masking and ensure masking accuracy.
• Remove masking materials after coating operations when required.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet customer specifications and standards.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience with masking aerospace parts, powder coating, painting, applying tape, plugs and caps per work instructions/ specifications
• Previous aerospace manufacturing assembly, or production experience preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks safely.
