Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Ingredients tech to join their team. As a Ingredients tech, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Dry Ingredients Team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$19.13
Shift:2:00PM-10:00PM
What's the Job?
- Portion dry ingredients according to recipes for current production
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of dry ingredients and supplies
- Document usage and lot numbers of ingredients using electronic systems and paper records
- Disassemble work stations and clean ingredient rooms and equipment
- Store unused ingredients appropriately and ensure compliance with food safety procedures
What's Needed?
- No prior experience or training required
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions from cooking outlines
- Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors and co-workers
- Ability to read a scale and match units to recipes
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems involving concrete variables
