Machine Operator

Our client, food manufacturing is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a positive, team-first mindset that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Halifax, NC

Pay Range: $15.50

Shift: 4pm - 1am (or until production is done)

What's the Job?

• Operate basic food processing machines to combine raw and processed ingredients into intermediate food products.
• Set up machines for production runs by loading materials and adjusting settings to meet run requirements.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure product quality and conformity to company guidelines.
• Inspect parts to specifications and make adjustments or tool changes as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Clean and sanitize machines according to company guidelines and machine specifications.

What's Needed?

• Experience operating machinery is preferred.
• Food industry experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and be understood.
• Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety standards.
• Willingness to learn and improve, with the ability to work as a team player.
