Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator III-CNC Punch/ Laser Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator III-CNC Punch/ Laser Operator, you will be part of the Press Brake department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator III-CNC Punch/ Laser Operator

Location: Warwick, RI

Pay: $25 + $2.00 Shift Differential

Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00PM-10:00PM

What's the Job?

  • Set up and operate complex manual and CNC metal fabrication machines such as saws, shears, brakes, punch and drill presses in accordance with quality and quantity standards.
  • Review shop operations packets and engineering drawings to ensure correct incoming materials.
  • Program CNC machines using process flow sheets and tooling sequences, making edits as necessary to optimize production.
  • Inspect and dimensionally check production output to meet specifications, utilizing calibrated precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, including sharpening, oiling, and fluid replacement, while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a sheet metal fabrication environment.
  • Familiarity with metric blueprint dimensioning preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
  • Capability to lift and move up to 75 lbs and perform physical motions such as standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
