Machine Operator

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety consciousness, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Orange, VA

Pay Range: $19

Shift: Third Shift: 11P-7A Sun-Thur

What's the Job?

• Operate conventional and CNC production machines such as winders, milling machines, drill presses, broaches, lathes, saws, grinders, and welders.
• Perform sand deburr and other finishing tasks to ensure quality standards are met.
• Understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements, and machining techniques.
• Maintain safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting machine issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Familiarity with various CNC machines and controls.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety guidelines.
