Machinist

Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the Production team supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality, a safety-first mindset, and the drive to learn and improve processes—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate machine tools to produce parts according to work instructions and specifications.
• Inspect finished components to confirm dimensions, tolerances, and overall quality requirements are met.
• Read and interpret technical documentation such as drawings, routings, and job instructions.
• Maintain safe and efficient machine operation by following established procedures and workplace safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and workmanship.

What's Needed?

• Hands-on experience operating machining equipment and performing basic setup tasks.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing quality work the first time.
• Comfort using inspection tools to verify part conformance to requirements.
• Reliable teamwork and communication to coordinate with production and quality needs.
