Material Handler

Our client, a leading logistics and manufacturing organization, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Operations team supporting Distribution Center and Manufacturing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, reliable attendance, and the drive to stay focused in a hands-on, fast-paced environment—while helping ensure paint products and containers are prepared correctly for rework, drying, and storage.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Sauk Village, IL

Pay Range: $20.50

Shift: 1st shift, 7am - 3:30pm

What's the Job?

• Perform work across both Distribution and Manufacturing areas as assigned.
• Sort and organize full pallets of gallon cases, 5-gallon pails, and quart cases.
• Open paint pails and cans and pour remaining paint into totes for rework.
• Pump paint from 5-gallon pails into totes.
• Scrape and clean pails and cans to remove remaining product, then assist with drying and storage preparation.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Must be able to speak and understand English sufficiently to follow work instructions, communicate with team members, and understand safety procedures.
• Strong attendance, reliability, and punctuality are essential for this assignment.
• Comfort performing physical, hands-on work in both distribution and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to lift, move, and stack cases of paint and other materials as needed while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
