Our client, Medical Manufacturing is seeking a Medical Manufacturing Machine Operator Day Shift to join their team. As a Medical Manufacturing Machine Operator Day Shift, you will be part of the Production team supporting daily assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to follow detailed procedures, and the focus to produce high-quality medical devices.

Job Title: Medical Manufacturing Machine Operator Day Shift

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Range: $18

Shift: 12 hr rotating shift (6:30AM-6:30PM)

What's the Job?

  • Keep the work area and equipment clean to support safe, consistent production.
  • Read and understand procedures, work instructions, and production documentation.
  • Operate simple automated assembly machines safely and efficiently in accordance with company standards.
  • Interpret machine faults, rectify problems, and restart equipment to maintain continuous operation.
  • Assemble, inspect, and package medical devices with the highest quality possible, including weighing, counting, labeling, and completing required records.

What's Needed?

  • Ability to start a machine from a power-off state and perform work order set-ups in electronic batch record, data acquisition, and inventory management systems.
  • Experience reading gauges and dials and performing inspection/testing to ensure good quality products.
  • Ability to learn to operate simple machines quickly, including press and torque fitments with typically fewer than 10 stations and low operator attention requirements.
  • Basic Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computer experience preferred.
  • High school diploma, GED, or Employment Assessment Revised 09/12/2023; minimum qualifications include being able to meet the role’s physical requirements and working in a clean room environment.
