Our client, food production is seeking a Packing Worker to join their team. As a Packing Worker, you will be part of the production team supporting the line and packaging operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow safety and food quality standards consistently, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle raw materials and perform tasks such as defrosting, hooking, hanging, racking, cutting, stuffing, weighing, scaling, labeling, boxing, and palletizing
- Load and unload materials onto racks, carts, and conveyors
- Move products between different temperature areas using carts or racks
- Prepare products for vacuum processing and packaging
- Inspect product for quality and consistency, ensuring company standards are met
- Report any defects or issues with materials, products, or equipment to the supervisor
- Follow all food safety guidelines, including HACCP, USDA, and FDA regulations
- Assist with Sanitation processes as needed
- Record production data, such as product counts and weights if applicable
- Communicate effectively with line leads, supervisors, and other team members about production or challenges
- Previous experience in food processing or manufacturing (preferred but not required).
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices (training provided).
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs regularly and work in cold or hot environments while performing repetitive tasks accurately.
- Be part of a production team where your accuracy and care directly support product quality.
- Training provided for food safety and sanitation expectations, including HACCP-aligned practices.
- Clear expectations and a structured workflow with regular communication with line leads and supervisors.

What's the Job?
- Manipular materias primas y realizar tareas como descongelar, enganchar, colgar, rackear, cortar, rellenar, pesar, escalar, etiquetar, encajonar y paletizar.
- Cargar y descargar materiales en racks, carritos y transportadores para mantener el ritmo de producción.
- Mover productos entre áreas con diferentes temperaturas usando carritos o racks, siguiendo prácticas seguras de manejo.
- Preparar productos para el procesamiento al vacío y el empaque, asegurando precisión y consistencia.
- Inspeccionar el producto por calidad y consistencia, reportar defectos o problemas al supervisor y seguir lineamientos de inocuidad alimentaria, incluyendo HACCP, USDA y regulaciones de FDA.
What's Needed?
- Diploma de preparatoria o equivalente.
- Experiencia previa en procesamiento de alimentos o manufactura (preferida, pero no requerida).
