Our client, a leader in manufacturing and processing, is seeking a Plant Processing Operator to join their team. As a Plant Processing Operator, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting production and processing teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Plant Processing Operator

Location: Salem, OR

Pay Range: $22.50-$23.00/Hr

Shift: All shifts available

What's the Job?

  • Operate processing machinery to produce high-quality products within established guidelines.
  • Make minor adjustments to machinery to ensure proper product formation and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Monitor and log temperature, moisture, raw material weights, and other critical parameters.
  • Follow sanitation procedures for cleanups and changeovers, including chemical handling.
  • Maintain safety standards, keep work areas clean, and report any equipment issues or injuries promptly.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • 1-year production or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance if necessary and stand continuously during shifts.
