Production Associate

Our client, a light industrial manufacturing environment, is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the production team supporting assembly, test, and packaging work. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions carefully, and the drive to learn quickly and repeat processes to meet quality and production standards.

Job Title: Production Associate

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL

Pay Range: $18.38

Shift: 1st shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm), Monday–Wednesday (8 hours/day; 24 hours total)

What's the Job?

• Perform assembly, test, and packaging of electronic and mechanical products to prescribed quality and production standards in accordance with ISO procedures.
• Build products using visual aids, written instructions, and verbal work instructions.
• Move parts and materials to maintain an orderly material flow and support production needs.
• Rotate between operations within a work cell and between departments as required.
• Prepare work cell and/or department records and notify the appropriate personnel if a process or method is out of compliance.

What's Needed?

• Some building/assembly experience (hands-on experience is preferred).
• Dependable transportation to reliably report to the Buffalo Grove site.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work on your feet for the duration of the assignment.
• Comfort working with your hands and in a fast-paced environment (examples include previous manufacturing, food service, working on cars, or similar hands-on roles).
• Strong attendance, good attitude, and the ability to follow directions and adapt to change while learning quickly and repeating what you’ve been trained to do.
