Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Production Team Lead to join their dynamic team. As a vital part of the manufacturing department, you will support the production process, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s goals.
Job Title: Production Team Lead
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Range: $22.5
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 pm to 2:00 am
What's the Job?
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, performance, and quality standards
- Coordinate and schedule production activities to support customer demand efficiently
- Train, coach, and lead team members to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Operate forklifts, power pallet jacks, and manual carts to manage materials and finished products
- Conduct inspections, manage line changeovers, and ensure adherence to work instructions and safety protocols
What's Needed?
- Previous manufacturing experience is required, with forklift operation and measurement reading skills
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and specifications
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, with knowledge of fractions and decimals
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with adaptability to changing environments
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions on the manufacturing floor
