Scale Attendant

Our client, in the logistics and production support space, is seeking a Scale Attendant to join their team. As a Scale Attendant, you will be part of the operations team supporting day-to-day shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to work independently while staying aligned with team goals.

Job Title: Scale Attendant

Location: Dayton, TX

Pay Range: $18

Shift: Monday to Friday| 6:00 am to 4:30 pm | Rotating every other Saturday| 6:00 am to 11:00 am 

What's the Job?

• Open and close the scale house to ensure the area is ready for daily operations.
• Weigh in and out all trucks, then direct them to the loading area for product pickup.
• Perform quality analysis tests and record results accurately and consistently.
• Record load weights on BOL’s and scale tickets, ensuring documentation matches the shipment.
• Assist with monitoring product levels in the load out silos and advise when levels are low; support product transfer campaign monitoring.

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., stoop, bend, and reach above head for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with heights; ability to operate or learn to operate a 6k forklift truck.
