Shift Lead (2nd Shift)

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in plastic extrusion, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Shift Lead (2nd Shift) to join their dynamic team. As a Shift Lead (2nd Shift), you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift: 2nd Shift

What's the Job?

• Take full ownership of inventory accuracy and ensure proper planning for each scheduled job throughout the week.
• Oversee quality control in accordance with company standards and standards outlined in the control plan.
• Manage and review production direct labor, ensuring efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Coordinate activities of employees on the shift to meet production targets and maintain a safe work environment.
• Work with technical drawings, reports, and work instructions to support production quality and efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; advanced education is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plastic extrusion or related manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate computers, small hand tools, precision measuring devices, and standard office equipment.
• Knowledge of accounting methods and cost control procedures.
• Strong reading, writing, math skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and reports.
