Our client, a leader in the architectural lighting industry, is seeking a Solder & Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Solder & Assembly Technician, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly and wiring of lighting components. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Solder & Assembly Technician

Location: Costa Mesa, CA

Pay Range: $21

Shift: 5am-1:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Soldering surfaces, applying flux, and fusing components with precision according to SOPs
• Preparing and assembling linear strip lights and wire harnesses based on layout drawings
• Collaborating with the production team to assemble product orders using hand tools, saws, and drills
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, following safety and housekeeping protocols
• Participating in special projects and assisting in training co-workers to promote safety and continuous improvement

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year proven soldering experience
• Mechanical inclination and eagerness to learn new skills
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English
• Physical ability to lift, move, and adjust items up to 25 lbs
• Capability to work in environments with varying temperatures and occasional noise
