Welder

Our client, a manufacturing organization dedicated to quality and safety, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to the fabrication and repair of metal components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Archdale, NC

Pay Range: $24/hr

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Thursday, 6am-4:30pm

What's the Job?

• Perform entry-level welding, fabrication, and repair work in support of manufacturing operations.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine appropriate welding processes.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure structural soundness and quality standards are met.
• Identify and repair weld defects such as porosity, inclusions, and cavities to ensure safety and durability.
• Align, fit, and assemble component parts using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and microscopes.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Welding experience required, including MIG, TIG, and brazing techniques.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Reliability and ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
