Job Title: Commercial HVAC Account Manager

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay Range: $115,000-$160,000 Base + Commission
 

Manpower is partnering with a well-established mechanical contractor to hire a Commercial HVAC Service Account Manager.

This is a high-impact, revenue-driven role focused on developing new business and expanding client relationships within the commercial HVAC and mechanical services space.

The ideal candidate brings an existing book of business and thrives in a role where they can own client relationships, drive revenue, and grow their portfolio.

What is the Job:

  • Develop new business and expand relationships within commercial HVAC/mechanical service accounts
  • Leverage your existing network to secure service agreements, repairs, and project work
  • Sell and manage Planned Maintenance Agreements (PMAs), repairs, and retrofit projects
  • Conduct client meetings, job walks, and site assessments
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, and scopes of work
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Manage account lifecycle including contract negotiation, execution, and client retention
  • Identify new opportunities for larger modernization or capital improvement projects

What is Needed:

  • Proven experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical services sales
  • Established book of business and strong relationships with decision-makers
  • Experience selling:
    • Service agreements / maintenance contracts
    • Repairs and retrofit work
  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and services
  • Ability to generate new business and close deals independently
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Preferred Background

  • Experience working for a mechanical contractor or HVAC service provider
  • Familiarity with design-build or project-based environments
  • Knowledge of commercial facilities, property management, or construction markets
