Gas and Chemical Technician

Our client, a leader in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, is seeking a Gas and Chemical Technician to join their team. As a Gas and Chemical Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the site’s gas and chemical logistics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Gas and Chemical Technician

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Pay Range:

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm

What's the Job?

• Document shipments and manage inventory for gases and chemicals used in wafer fabrication.
• Support and lead technical demands of gas and chemical equipment, ensuring compliance with operational procedures.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on various gas and chemical systems.
• Support installation, decommissioning, and troubleshooting of gas and chemical delivery systems.
• Assist in safety procedures, emergency response, and inventory management, including chemical offloading and movement.

What's Needed?

• Basic knowledge of gas or chemical applications in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with barcode systems is a plus.
• Ability to perform cylinder and drum changes safely and efficiently.
• Forklift certification or experience is preferred.
• Willingness to undergo comprehensive on-the-job and technical training programs.
