Gas & Chemical Technician

Our client, a leader in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, is seeking a Gas & Chemical Technician to join their team. As a Gas & Chemical Technician, you will be part of the Operations Support team supporting chemical and gas management across multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Gas & Chemical Technician

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Pay Range: $26.68 - $28.50/hr based on experience

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm

What's the Job?

• Document shipments and manage inventory of gases and chemicals
• Support and lead technical operations of gas and chemical equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety, operation, and maintenance procedures
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and complex problem resolution on equipment
• Assist with installation, decommissioning, and safety procedures for gas systems

What's Needed?

• Basic knowledge of gas or chemical applications in wafer fabrication
• Experience with inventory management and chemical handling
• Ability to perform cylinder and drum changes safely and efficiently
• Forklift certification or experience preferred
• Comfort working with chemicals and using personal protective equipment
