Our client, a leader in innovative material solutions, is seeking a Product Application Engineer to join their team. As a Product Application Engineer, you will be part of the technical support department supporting customer demonstrations and laboratory testing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Product Application Engineer

Location: Bridgewater, NJ

Pay Range: $35

Shift: Days (08:00-17:00)

What's the Job?

  • Run customer lab demonstrations using application equipment and pilot coater/laminators, supporting on-site customer visits.
  • Ensure the efficient setup and production of materials on assigned pilot coater/laminator equipment.
  • Calibrate and safety check laboratory, pilot, and application equipment in compliance with local regulations, developing new test methods as needed.
  • Coordinate pilot equipment changeovers, perform minor maintenance, and maintain the upkeep of pilot equipment.
  • Complete customer lab work requests, prepare technical reports, and document findings within the technical database.

What's Needed?

  • Ability to operate and support laboratory and pilot equipment effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
  • Basic understanding of laboratory safety and calibration procedures.
  • Willingness to support ongoing test method development and process improvements.
  • Ability to move materials as necessary to support laboratory activities.
