Our client, a leader in automotive adhesives and material application solutions, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Technical Support Engineer to join their team. As a vital part of the technical support department, you will support development and commercialization efforts, ensuring optimal product performance and customer satisfaction. Job Title: Technical Support Engineer
Location: Madison Heights, MI
Pay Range: $25-$30
Shift: Days (08:00-17:00)
What's the Job?
- Lead technical initiatives related to developmental and commercialized products by optimizing material application processes.
- Engage directly with customers through visits, demonstrations, and training sessions to troubleshoot and resolve product and process issues.
- Conduct laboratory testing and prepare detailed reports to support internal and external customer needs.
- Provide technical training to field sales teams, customers, and support talent development initiatives.
- Work in a laboratory environment, applying your engineering knowledge to solve complex technical problems.
What's Needed?
- Background in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a laboratory environment and write comprehensive lab reports.
- Willingness to support training and development activities for diverse audiences.
