Air Set Molder

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the aluminum casting industry, is seeking a dedicated Air Set Molder to join their team. As an Air Set Molder, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Air Set Molder

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $15.00

Shift:1st 

What's the Job?

• Use chemically treated sand to produce sand molds for aluminum castings
• Produce sand molds according to specifications, utilizing semi-automated machinery and tooling
• Maintain machinery, patterns, hand tools, and other equipment in optimal condition
• Ensure the Air-Set mold line and work area are safe and clean at all times
• Learn and apply basic technical and chemical principles related to Air-Set molding operations

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED, or relevant work experience
• Ability to lift parts weighing over 50 pounds with assistance if needed
• Capability to work in bending, standing, or squatting positions for extended periods
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately
