Our client, a leader in manufacturing and chemical processing, is seeking a dedicated Compounding Operator to join their team. As a Compounding Operator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Compounding Operator

Location: Melville, NY

Pay Range: $23 - $24/hr 

Shift: 5am – 2:30pm; Occasional OT and Weekend Work

What's the Job?

  • Accurately measure and mix raw materials according to specified formulations and batch records.
  • Operate and maintain compounding equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly.
  • Monitor the compounding process to detect and resolve any issues that may affect product quality or safety.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate production records, including batch logs and quality control documentation.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

What's Needed?

  • 2 years of experience working as a Compounding Operator 
  • Basic understanding of safety regulations and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  • Ability to read and interpret batch records, formulas, and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in compounding or chemical processing.
  • Criminal background check, SSN trace, and drug test are required.
