CWR-Warehouse Associate I

Our client, is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate I, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate I

Location: Hammond, LA

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with some overtime as needed

What's the Job?

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents to determine items to be moved or shipped
• Ensure the warehouse environment is accessible and safe for all employees and visitors
• Complete work in a safe manner, adhering to all safety policies and procedures
• Participate in inventory counts and assemble products as needed

What's Needed?

• Basic English language proficiency (spoken and written)
• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners
• Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
• Experience in dock or warehouse operations within the transportation industry is a plus
