Delivery Driver

Our client, a leading provider in food distribution, is seeking a Part-Time Delivery Driver to join their team.  As a Delivery Driver, you will be part of the logistics support team, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to various clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Delivery Driver- Part Time

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: $20.00/hr

Shift: 8:30am - 6:00pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
 

What's the Job?

• Use a company van to make food deliveries to businesses and grocery stores in the tri-state region.
• Assist in loading the van in the morning based on the delivery schedule from the previous night.
• Deliver small items, typically 4-5 stops per day, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Use a hand truck to unload products at delivery locations and ensure proper handling.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety and traffic regulations.

What's Needed?

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; no CDL required.
• Ability to lift and handle small to medium-sized packages.
• Strong organizational skills to manage daily delivery schedules.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality to meet delivery deadlines.
