Forklift Operators - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Our client, a leading industrial organization, is seeking dedicated Forklift Operators - 2nd & 3rd Shift to join their dynamic team.  As a Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and material handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operators - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Location: Middletown, NY

Pay Range: $21.80/hr 

Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm, Alternating Saturdays) / 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday, 11pm-7am, Alternating Sundays)
 

What's the Job?

• Operate forklifts and other lifting devices to move, load, unload, and stack materials, products, and goods safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage inventory by accurately storing, organizing, and tracking materials in designated storage areas.
• Load and unload materials from trailers, trucks, and transport vehicles with precision and care.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, secure loads properly, and report any safety concerns promptly.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and lifting devices.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and inventory accuracy.
• Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Reliable and punctual with a proactive attitude towards work responsibilities.
