General Labor / Forklift Operator

Our client, an industry-leading automotive supplier, is seeking a dedicated and motivated General Labor / Forklift Operator to join their team. As a vital part of the industrial operations, you will support the warehouse team in ensuring smooth and efficient handling of parts and materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: General Labor / Forklift Operator

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay Range: $25.3

Shift: Fir & Sat 6am-5:30pm, Sun & Mon 6pm-3:30am

What's the Job?

• Operate forklift and overhead hoist to move materials and parts efficiently and safely
• Pick and pull orders using scan guns in outdoor warehouse environments
• Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents accurately
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Perform repetitive duties within standard work parameters with precision and consistency

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior forklift certification and experience
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including walking and lifting up to 60 pounds
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
