Laser Operator

Ready to take your laser operation skills to the next level? Our client is seeking a Laser Operator to join their manufacturing team in South Bend, IN. In this role, you’ll set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts that meet customer specifications. Job Title: Laser Operator

Location: South Bend, IN

Pay Range: $20-$25/hour (Based on Experience)

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate laser cutting equipment to run production jobs efficiently.
• Monitor output and make machine adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and quality.
• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production instructions to ensure correct part production.
• Perform quality inspections using measuring tools and equipment.
• Accurately count, label, and record production data; identify material types and verify proper material usage.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of CNC or laser operation experience.
• Bystronic laser experience preferred.
• Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers and tape measures.
• Experience identifying and working with various metal materials.
• Basic computer skills and data entry experience; ability to follow directions and work independently.
