Our client, a manufacturing leader specializing in high-performance cordage, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their dedicated team. As a Machine Operator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting operational excellence and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Ferndale, WA
Pay Range:
Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM, $20/hr; 3rd Shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, $21.50/hr
What's the Job?
- Operate production machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Follow all safety procedures and requirements to maintain a safe work environment.
- Adhere to product constructions, including materials, machinery setup, and machine operation.
- Maintain a clean work area and comply with 5S standards to ensure operational efficiency.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) on production machinery and troubleshoot as needed.
What's Needed?
- Prior machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with strong organizational skills.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to follow verbal directions accurately.
- Proficiency in gathering, recording, and reporting operational and quality metrics, either manually or through automated systems.
- Physical ability to lift 10 – 25 lbs frequently and 25 – 50 lbs occasionally.
