Material Handler Forklift Second shift

Our client, a manufacturing environment, is seeking a General Labor Production to join their team in La Porte, TX. As a General Labor Production associate, you’ll be part of the production floor supporting daily operations and helping keep work areas safe, organized, and running smoothly. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to safety, a steady focus on quality, and the drive to follow instructions to meet production needs.

Shift: Second

What's the Job?

Operate assigned machinery and/or equipment and/or perform physical loading/unloading of materials in a safe and productive manner following Operational Standard Work and supervisor instructions.
Operate equipment associated with producing units and/or material handling equipment as assigned.
Follow all applicable safety policies and practices, including using required PPE, ensuring machine guards and safety features are working, and promoting safe work habits.
Load and unload raw goods and/or finished products as needed.
Perform visual inspections of product to support quality, maintain housekeeping in the work area, and complete routine maintenance tasks as directed.

What's Needed?

Ability to follow safety regulations, work instructions, and site procedures consistently.
Willingness to operate assigned equipment and perform loading/unloading tasks safely.
Attention to detail for routine quality checks and visual inspection of products.
Comfort working in a manufacturing environment and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Readiness to report issues to a supervisor or higher-level colleague and complete other assigned non-technical routine tasks.
