Our client, a leading organization in chemical processing and manufacturing, is seeking a Material Handler II to join their team. As a Material Handler II, you will be part of the operations team supporting receiving and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler II

Location: Burnet, TX

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

  • Safely unpackage parts and process incoming chemical vessels into SAP for accurate inventory tracking.
  • Inspect inbound packages, sort them into appropriate categories based on inspection criteria, and ensure proper handling and storage.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of all received materials.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, store, and organize chemical vessels safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and handling procedures for chemicals and heavy equipment.

What's Needed?

  • Experience in receiving, inspecting materials, and documenting inventory accurately.
  • Solid background in warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, and organizing materials.
  • Proven experience using SAP for inventory and logistics management.
  • Certification to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and handle heavy equipment or materials.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with chemicals, including safe handling and storage procedures.
