Material Handler

Our client, a leading pet food distribution company, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting order fulfillment and logistics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Parkville, MO

Pay Range: $21+

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm 

What's the Job?

• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
• Using paper pick tickets to locate and move materials within the warehouse
• Operating pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts to transport goods
• Assisting with setup and packaging using box knives, tape guns, and shrink wrap
• Supporting cross-training in all warehouse areas to ensure smooth operations

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience with UPS shipping is helpful but not mandatory
• Ability to lift an average of 35 lbs, up to 50 lbs as needed
• Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Background check and drug screening required, with no felonies or misdemeanors involving theft, violence, or drug charges within the last 7 years
